Studio 2C at The Sage : A Personal Artist Residency
Hello Friends! Welcome to the very first blog post for Studio 2C. I am so excited you're here. I've put together this personal artist residency at The Sage in Louisa, VA, as a place to grow, experiment, and share the joy of making art.
A Place to Unplug and Create
Sometimes you just need to shut out the noise. For me, this studio is where I can turn off my phone, tune out everyday distractions, and totally lose myself in the painting process. This space is my quiet corner to recharge and do what I love most.
However, as much as I love my quiet solo time, I definitely do not want to keep this space to myself! Over the next few months, I'm opening up the studio to our awesome community. I'm inviting other artists into Studio 2C to hang out, paint side by side, and chat about creative life. We'll be capturing those moments on video and audio to share with you all! I'm also a big believer that art should be accessible to everyone and soon I'll be hosting pay what you can classes right here in the studio so anyone can drop in, learn something new, and have fun making art.
